My Mistakes
30 March, 2005

mistakes have
consequences
that locks away
my freedom.
i am chained down
to all of the flaws
i have.
i bring shame
to my family.
all these flaws
collect on me like
dust collects on
a forgotten object.
silence has taken
over my mouth,
making sure i won't
say anything wrong.
a blinding cloth was
casted over my eyes,
afraid i might see
the truth.
i've been tied down to a poll of
beliefs and orders
that i have
no strength to resist.
death twists its
tail around my ankles.
slowly moving up
my body, squeezing
the life out of me,
torturing me to my end.
