the heart within
my soul
cried for you
last night
as i celebrate this day to myself

a constant reminder
that you forgot to tell it
that you were never
coming back

I had to break it softly
within my mind
then my tears
began to flow
as I forced myself to
remind it
about the day i had to purchase
your wooden coffin

as i sent you away
with one final good bye
I froze for a moment
as my heart went into a haze
I remembered
not being ready to
face that final day

as i placed these roses
upon your grave
I forced myself to look at it
as though you were
gone sailing for awhile
as i visualize the ocean
where your soul sails away

and praying that the flood of tears will
return your heart to me
on this anniversary day

Love Will Sail, But, Never Away

You purchased a coffin made of wood, from an old sailing ship, your love, is placed inside, forever. You are wrong, hear the storm so, stong, feel the waves, they can take, cities away. But, not this storm, this sailor, still sails, upon the passion of your, love. No heart went down, but rose up, its love is always, there, look out to sea, see his waves of love, feel the warmth, of his touch as he, covers you, and all you do.

Yes, love will sail, in time, but, love, will never leave you, love, never dies!
