Forever In My Heart

How can i put this, how can i say,
I wanted to love you, i wanted to stay,
my feelings were strong so very strong,
but i don't think this is where i belong.
Our love it could have been so good,
but in my heart i knew it never would,
forever and ever in my heart you will be,
it's time i left, it's goodbye you see.
Please don't cry, don't shed a tear,
i promise to write you i promise you dear,
Now i must take my leave and go on my way,
for my tears are streaming i cannot stay.
A kiss on your cheek a whisper goodbye,
please go inside so i don't see you cry,
My time with you was special and true,
from the bottom of my heart I'll always love you.
