Inseperable In Distance And Time
2 April, 2005
Author: Terrie*
when I woke up this morning
I found you forever in my heart
when I took in a breath
I found it was your breath
I was taking in
when I felt the warmth
deep in my heart
I found that feeling
kept me alive
I ventured out the door
to face whatever storm
was blown my way
with the wind at my face
and the sun at my back
I feared nothing cause
I accepted Christ
into my life
and in every turn
every bend unknown
he has carried me through
and brought me to the rainbow
of your love
for what ever the reason
for what ever was asked for
he made that delivery
to you and I
not a love of convienance
not a love of desperation
but a love of hope
a love of strength
a love of respect
a love of honor
to spend the rest of our days
a spiritual love
that we have proven
stands the test of time
the power of our love
washes over us
stands tall and proud
the only question i ask..
where were you all of my life??
was he comparing hearts
and found our two lonely hearts
that search
for the same strength
the same kind of love
that is so rare
to share and spread with the world
we have grown and become
so inseperable
even in distance and time
as you breath in
I breath out
we can not breath with out the other
when I stand under a shower
of falling rain
I feel your hands
embracing me
as they cover me with your love
when I strip my heart
and bare it all
I feel your heart
making deep love to mine
when I fall asleep I feel your soul
laying itself right next to mine
I feel your heart beat
deeply within my own
before i fall into a slumber
make yourself comfortable
place yourself deep into me
you are so much a part of me now
I will see you again in the morn
even in our distance and time
oh how i love falling asleep
in your sweet embrace
good night my heart
i love you so much
