Many Years Ago Today...
3 April, 2005
Author: Terrie*
who is this man
whom still makes me feel so alive?
I married him many years ago
lost him, but I still feel him so
have you ever had that feeling
of feeling so safe
even when you are very much alone??
I discovered
he still makes me feel this way
perhaps some see it as an obsession
that I can not over come
of loving someone whom doesn't exist
I claim it as my confession
as I know where his love always came from
when real love touches you
it never leaves your heart
the flesh moves on
but the soul finds you again
love can still exist and be very much alive
within our own hearts
that love is intensified
when we fall in love again
the love that was known before
has a part in whom you will love again
who is this man
whom has embedded his love deep
within my heart??
he is the first man I fell in love with
he is the man
whom taught me that love lives forever
even in our dreams
I married him
we multiplied our love
then i lost him many years ago
but love still exists in
the two souls we created from our love
and most definently
in this heart of mine
thanks to
this man
I married many years ago

anonymous (81.157.220.198) -- Sunday, April 3 2005, 10:43 pm Well if one person loves someone gone its called obssesive, but if many people love some one gone, its not obssesive at all.For what its worth,I still love someone whos is gone.So that does not make you obssesive.Great poem.Very touching. |
