Fairy Tale
4 April, 2005
Author: Silent Witness
It all happens so suddenly
Brutal winds rip through fragile trees
Bringing toy soldier's to their knees
While Dumbo from his place in the circus fleas
Where your tears and troubles a place do find
Where the magic mirror no more speaks its mind
Where the beast emerges from where beauty once came
Where you no longer find pleasure playing the game
Where aurora borealis no longer shines
Where Never land you fail to find
Where the little boy who cried wolf falls silent
Where Pandora's box is no longer violent
Where in the bottom of the sea you are forced to roam
To find Davy Jones' Locker all alone
Where the illustrious lamp has lost its shine
Where the genie for you won't find free time
Where the tiara your head won't fit
Where your prince with the wrong princess shares a kiss
Where your life something special misses
Where regret has taken all your glitzes
Where the lights touch the earth no more
Where the spirit of the bear is no longer pure
Where the poison apple is taken in
Where your life begins to end
Where the pumpkin fails to turn to coach
Where the white steed the mice fail to encroach
Where only the ugly stepsister's grace the ball
Where your dress lays in materials raw
Where you take the plunge off of the king's royal wall
Where the sword from stone simply falls
Where Zeus' heavens storm angry and violent
Where Hades' has gained the trident
Where true love's first kiss fails you to awake
From slumber to life with a silent shake
Where life under the sea is no longer for thee
Where you are no longer in love with me
Where dopey and the gang are happy no more
Where bambi isn't free as he was before
Where in your heart I am no more
Where wonderland isn't as it has been before
Where the Cheshire cats' smile turns to frown
Where the lost city of Atlantis is found
Where buzz and woody combine forces no more
Where the sirens sing from upon the shore
Where the wind no longer whispers your name
Where you are no longer glad I came
Where the hunchback the last bell tolls
Where life as you knew it no longer flows
Where for you the bell doth toll
Where your life is dull and droll
Where the children turn away from the candy door
Where the glass slipper fits you no more
Where you can no longer find your peaches' magic pit
Where you keep company no longer with the fuzzy prince
Where your broken heart no longer sings
Where tink's magic dust fails her wings
Where in death you find pure peace
Where your seems no longer obsolete
Where the princesses' tale is done
Where she has had her final moment in the sun
Where the fairy tale ends
So… your new slice of story amends
