Another Girl
13 January, 2004
Author: Christina
I'm trying to vent
and explain how I feel
I keep thinking about what happened,
wondering if it was real
A number on your hand,
wasn't it someone from work?
Nope, just another girl's,
you stupid lying jerk
Cancelling a date with me,
Sorry, you said, I already have plans
But not with a friend, just another girl
kissing and holding hands
I can't kiss you now, you said,
it just doesn't feel right
Not because of some "moral issue",
you were with another girl that night
Little hints along the way
led to one conclusion-
I would end up in pain,
and in total confusion
Someone out there knows how I feel
I say, things aren't what they seem
I turned out to be just another girl,
falling victim to a stupid dream

Christina (152.163.253.6) -- Thursday, January 22 2004, 01:37 am Ash, Tarna, Lady Eryemil...thank you for your comments. It hurts to fall in love with someone that has completely different intentions. But without pain and sadness, you can never know love and happiness. |
