Oh my love what are you?
That the sound of your voice
Awakens my soul within my self,
From such slumber as I knew not I was in,
Where in I knew not of beauty nor love
And now, my eyes as if for the first time where open,
Seeing flowers blooming in the morning sun,
And hearing for the first time, birds singing,
Echoing the song of my heart, the song of your voice,
Which is to my ears, sweet, as honey to my mouth.

Oh, my love what is it?
That one look from you
Causes my heart to beat in such a way,
That, were it possible, it would burst forth from within me,
And there, transfixed by your gaze, unable to move, or speak,
Lost within the fiery opals that are your eyes,
Still, unmoving, mesmerized by beauty,
Which wrapped my heart, and presented itself,
A ring to adorn your finger.

Oh, my love what powers have you?
That with your touch, I lose all awareness of myself.
Time, brought to a single moment,
My universe suddenly, reduced so that,
I feel only your touch, hear,
Only the pounding of two hearts beating in unison.
My skin, tingling with the warmth of your all encompassing embrace,
My mind, swimming with your kiss, sweet and luscious as raspberries,
Yet, more intoxicating than wine, and leaving me, utterly breathless.
