Smile!
7 April, 2005

vinebar

My world one of sorrow.
My dreams are ones of pain.
My laughter is full of lies.
My reality is insane.

The tears I swallow back
Keep rising up and up.
The cuts I make upon my skin
Are once again opened up.

Weeping crimson tears
Whose gashes smile at me.
I stretch the lips taunt
Into a grin, impossibly.

The more my sorrow grows
The wider my smiles get.
The gaping maws of flesh
That hunters seem to set.

Awaiting the poor deer
Who should set foot in the trap.
Around its hurt the teeth will close
So tightly they won't unwrap.

Slip my fingers in
And pull the skin apart.
Release the sorrow, the hurt, the pain
In an endless crimson flood.

Loving the first verse especially.

Some interesting graphic images in there +_+ But the first verse is so good. I can relate to it rather well. Man, it's just great, it wouldn work on it's own.

Mistake.

it *would* work on it's own.
