Miscarriage

Not worthy of this privilege
The voices seem to say
Then in one instant
They reach inside me
And rip her brutally away
I pretended for 21 days
I saw the blood
I chose not to believe
How could GOD do this to me?
A tiny baby 10 fingers and toes
Hope she has her daddy's eyes
His coal black hair
What shall we name her?
We're not sure
Doesn't matter now SHE'S GONE
Miscarriage I hear the doctor whisper
Scrape and clean the womb
So there isn't any infection
You let me down once more
But this time so did GOD
I pray for the courage
To move past the fight
To move past the night
When you threw down and
Took her from me
UNSEEN
Rest assured I have forgiven you
But there are some things
You don't ever forget
You abused me and now
Our baby is gone
But don't worry because
From now on so am I!!!

In memory of my unborn baby girl Delaney Grey Mutter who died on 9/27/03 due to miscarriage though we didn't know the sex for sure I choose to believe God had given me my little girl! |
