Contradicting Emotions
14 November, 2003
Author: Christina
I hate the repetition
But I feel there's more to say
and I don't know what it is
or how to tell it in what way
I look into your eyes
and remember the butterflies I felt
then excitement turns to a different emotion
into anger those butterflies melt
I despise you, then love you
Sick of every game you play
Want nothing more than to have you leave
Pray to God you'll decide to stay
Contradicting emotions all the time
I need you, then I need to be free
Will someone please keep me from going insane
and just say what's wrong with me?
