Lifting Our Spirits
11 April, 2005
Author: Barbara Goodhew
People in a happy mood
Children playing and being good.
Squirrels playing tag.
Birds chirping at the nice weather.
Two times a year lift our spirits.
Spring Time and Xmas Time.

Meridian (64.12.116.197) -- Monday, April 11 2005, 07:57 pm Barb, your poem actually made me sigh a sigh of relief. I've been posting a lot of who-shot-john and low-spirited poems lately. I believe your poem is like a statement. When I read your words I think of something else instead of what they actually say. I guess you can say I'm stuck on the title and your last comment. Appreciation, thankfulness, and gratefulness is what it boils down to. To be honest, I can get a little slack in these. Thanks Barb for setting me straight. Inspirational poem Barb! Hail to the life lessons queen! ---Meri |
