Why

It hurts me when I see you
And you don't look back at me
I turn away quickly see you don't
see the tears forming in my eyes

I was friendly and laughing
Yourself quuiet and unsure
Me being totally honest
But never knowing if you were telling lies

I don't know which hurts more
Rejection by you
or the fact I'm still in love
Now I know why a heartbroken girl cries

I can relate to this poem. Rejection hurts a lot , but what hurts more is being rejected and still loving that person.
