Across the classroom
When all of a sudden

I want to go to you
I want to say hello
But when I go home
I’ll cry on my pillow

Knowing I’ll never have you
Knowing we’ll just be friends
I want to be more
Hoping one day you’ll bend

Thinking you like me too
All I can do is dream
About you and I wonder
If one day together we’ll be seen

I dream of you every night
Hoping I’ll be yours
And holding me tight
Hoping you won’t leave sores

Something to ask you
Afraid you’ll say no
So until then
I’ll wait for the day slow

Got this out of a book
Hoping one day you’ll see
That although I will always love you
It’s time to set you free

But I will always love you
Forever and always you see
There is one problem though
I don’t want to set you free

But I was watching you the other day
And I realized I can’t wait
To tell you how much I appreciate
And love you in every way
