Forget, All, The Bright Lights
18 April, 2005
Author: ShyHeart
I had rather walk alone with a shadow than all the bright lights
And all their hype, of a future, filled with love, along the side walks
I had rather, walk alone with a shadow, my heart can call, it's own
So, it may be a dream, still it, belongs to me, as I see the bright lights
Bright lights, light up the weak of heart, bring tears, for those, who go to far
Into the bright lights, hear the music play, feel the carnival atmosphere
See the clowns, playing with your heart, in all the bright lights
I had rather walk alone with a shadow, than all the bright lights
My shadow is soft and never makes, my eyes cry from all, the bright lights
I pay no ticket to ride the Ferris Wheel, or see some magic, before my eyes
I had rather walk alone with a shadow, that touches my heart, no bright lights
I had rather walk alone with a shadow, that touches, my heart, sincerely
"Forget, All the Bright lights"
