Fluffy, White Cloud, In The Sky by ShyHeart

I'm laying on my back, by the river's edge, looking up at the sky
I see this white, fluffy cloud and I wonder, if, I could peel it like, an onion...,
What would God show me? Would I see a thunder cloud being born, or rain
Before it fell. Would I see lightening before it struck, or colors forming, a rainbow
I just wonder, what would I see, if, I could peel a white, fluffy cloud,
Like an onion, what would God show to me, and I wonder, would it make me cry?

I wonder, what the Lord, would show me, layer by layer, I just wonder
Would I see, the birth of a rain storm, or see lightening, being born
I just wonder, what the Lord would show me, as the layers fell, away
Would I see, a moon-light-beam, waking up for her nightly show of love
Would I see, a sun-ray, streching out all it's warmth, to touch a cold heart below

I just wonder, if I could reach up, and peel all the fluffy, white away from a cloud
What would, the Lord allow me to see. Perhaps, a wooden cross, & white doves
It is so,peaceful here, by the river's-side, I see the water flow and hear, my heart
As it ask me,what if, you & I, could peel all the fluffy, white, away from a cloud
We both wonder, what would we see, behind, all the fluffy, whiteness, sailing by

Could it be,that you & I would see, our own hearts, just floating above the river?
I just wonder, haven't you, what's inside a fluffy, white cloud, it makes no sound
Yet, they cover us or, is it that, they shelter us, before the storm is born

I loved this poem you wrote Martin, it really seemed creative and beautiful. Goodness, I wouldn't have been able to even think of a poem like that, I wouldn't have even about something like that period-its so beautiful, peaceful, and lovely that it took my breath away. Wonderful wonderful job Martin! I loved it, it was so different and extravagant!~PM

Thank ypu both, for reading this poem. I know, it is a view, we well, at least most of us, have never seen. It was so, easy, to pen this poem, as all see life, as fluffy, white clouds passing by. My intent, was to reach up and touch one, I thank you both, for reaching up with me, so, few, do.
