Sometimes

Author: ShyHeart
Sometimes, I need to see, what, my life, means to me
Sometimes, I want to touch a love, long gone, taken by time
Sometimes, I want to rip the Sun from the sky and see it fall
Sometimes, I need a place, so far away from me, to rest my heart
Sometimes, I think of you, and ask myself, do you understand
Sometimes, I say, I don't even know, who you are, but, you read my words
Sometimes, I want to challenge the world, give me, your best shot
Sometimes, I curl up into myself, and wonder why, God, made me
Sometimes, I stand in front of a mirror, and see, no reflection
Just me, that is all I have, just me, trying to break free
Sometimes, I kneel upon my knees and ask why, am I here
Sometimes, my heart wants to burst & become, the sunshine
Sometimes, I wake up from my dream, but, there I am
Sometimes I ask myself, what is love, what is life
I'm standing before the mirror of, who, I think I am
I see no reflection, then there is this feeling and I hear it say
You are, who I created, lost when you were born, you traveled alone
Now, stand again, before the mirror of my love and you will see
You are the soul, you are the one, to share my love. There will be many times
Sometimes when you stand alone, the mirror, will tell you who you are
