What's Love?

Could it be
a sweet perfume?
a feather dancing in the wind?
the waves of an ocean sweeping to shore?

or could it be
the devil's invitation
to a dinner for two
with promises broken with every word?

to me,love is both.
it is a quiet whisper,
a smile to brighten the day,
and a promise of drpression.

but in reality,
true love is a dance,
an affair to be discovered,
and a reason to run from the world.
