Beginnings
25 April, 2005
Author: Mark Spencer
Your life had a beginning,
As did the human race.
The Earth had a starting point,
Like each planet in space.
The stars have an origin,
So does our galaxy.
And the universe itself
Began with nascency.
But what lies beyond this realm,
Did it also begin?
Domains don’t start from nothing,
So I’ll ask you again.
How far does creation go?
Every realm needs a source.
It must have its building blocks,
To chart the proper course.
Without the ingredients
Every big bang will fail.
So, to find those components,
We must follow the trail.
To unlock this mystery,
Look beyond space and time.
Through layers upon layers,
And dimensions, sublime.
Each layer is a ripple
Upon the cosmic sea.
Creating other ripples
In this reality.
If you could trace the layers
Back to their origin,
You’d see every beginning,
And secret held within.
Finally you’d reach a place,
Where ripples cease their spinning.
A realm beyond perception,
Which had no beginning.
That place was the catalyst,
Where everything began.
The galaxies and planets,
And families of man.
The end is the beginning,
Perhaps you find that odd.
When you can look no further,
That is where you’ll find God.
