If I Should Die Tomorrow
25 April, 2005

If I should die tomorrow,
Then I would go content,
Knowing that I understood
Exactly what love meant.

For I have loved another
With all my heart and soul.
And I know what it feels like
To be completely whole.

I tell her that I love her,
But words cannot reveal,
The measure of devotion,
That I have come to feel.

She’s my first breath when I wake,
My last thought e’re I rest,
And I ask God every day
How I could be so blessed.

I’m the richest man I know,
A king upon the Earth.
For mine is a treasure
Of unmatchable worth.

Let there be no weeping eyes,
No feelings of sorrow.
I will leave this world content,
If I should die tomorrow.
