Only My Own Fault

Author: Angel In Tears
Weeping wounds don’t heal,
So stop picking the scab!
Or it will leave a scar!
But it seems so difficult at times,
Not to pick off the scab,
To reveal the blood once more,
To let all of it go.
“Well just this once.
It won’t harm.”
So the scab is picked.
If a scar is left,
I only got myself to blame.
