That Blind Man
25 April, 2005
Author: Somaye Nouri
A Blind ugly man walking under the rain,
trying to find the way by his stick,
not knowing where to go
where the door is
feeling that some one is not waiting for him
at the university door or on his way
with all the beautiful things of the world
which are of water surrounding his eyes
rain, sea, dew and tear
oh I couldn't follow him
and that made a poet out of me.
