Sometimes when life gets hard,
or I’m feeling a little blue,
I sit back and I close my eyes,
And I remember you.

Though you are not gone,
nor are you far away,
still, remembering helps me smile again
And helps me through my day.

I remember the way you smile,
And the softness of your hair,
Or the way that your eyes sparkle
And your perfume on the air.

I remember the way you laugh,
and all the little things you do
And I can’t help but smile again,
when I remember you.
