I can dream forever
the life that I want
I can sit forever
and dream
and that’s all it will ever be
is but a dream
I can lay
with my eyes shut so tight
and dream of you
and watch as you appear
I can open them up
if only for a second
only to watch you dissapear
all I ever want to do
is lay here with my eyes closed
and watch you come alive
within my dreams
where you hold me
and protect me
from all things
that make me cry
in my dreams I'm never alone
except with you
as you hold me so tight
in your make believe arms through out the night
your my heavenly dream

Was this poem written about me? I dream CONSTANTLY! And I think that I could dream my whole life away, if people around me wouldn't 'wake' me up! lol But dreams will stay dreams, unless we do something about them! Great poem.

yes.. i continue to wait on that perfect love
i believe we all dream and want to be our dreams, i hear ya girl if the phone wouldn't ring i'd be with my perfect love by now.sigh..
i continue to dream my life away.
