What Is A Dream?

What is a Dream?
what does it mean?
does a dream open
and unlock a door?
that some may never
have known or gone before?
and may I ask?
are you what awaits for me
beyond that dream?
could you be a mystery?
a new beginning?
a promise of a love once lost?
what is a dream?
and what do they mean?
am I awake?
or am i asleep?
in a dream?
am i awake ?
or am i asleeep?
in this life that I'm in"
do I exist
when I am asleep ?
or when I'm awake?
is dreamin' livin'?
or is livin' dreamin?
share your dream with me?
what does mine mean?
when I feel so complete
with you lying right next to me?
please do not wake me
you may dissapear on me
let me sleep forever
if this will keep you alive in my dream
you are my dream

Angel in Tears (81.157.217.38) -- Saturday, April 30 2005, 09:44 pm Yes that is true, “An illusion of what our mind wants our heart to see".Dreams are such powerful illusions. They can be soo wonderful, yet it tortures us, when we see what we are unable to have...Dreams can be like addictive drugs. But sometimes...just sometimes...we awake. Love this poem! |
