A New Day Begins
23 February, 2004
Author: Clive B Ringshall
Sitting alone with passing thoughts,
Of times when the sun shone against your face,
Times when the gentle breeze moved your silken hair,
Words spoken together but never ment,
A walk along the shore,
Memories wash up in my mind,
Tears fall down my face at was once,
Time moves on stopping for no one,
My mind still waits for your love to return,
My heart will that day mend,
I’m so full of a love ment for us two,
Remember the days we together would sit,
One day we will again see the sun set in the ocean,
We will marvel at the fiery sea,
As it swallows the hot days sun,
Then in the morning dew,
We’ll watch as a new day begins,
A new start for us together you’ll see
