Dressed In White Satin

within the stones
was one that stood out
that all wondered so much about
around it spread clovers
behind it a fountain of Angels
at night it has been told
when the moon appears
shown upon it's dim light
tears are seen flowin' down
upon each angels cheek
if you listen to the echo in the wind
you'd hear a faint heartbeat
and someone crying beneath the fountain in the spring
upon that one stone reads
"she loved, she believed, she waited for love
yet love never showed
until the day she died
of a broken heart"
it was that love
she believed in
from someone from afar
that kept her alive
legend has shared
of her long wait for one love
a love that was but a fantasy
that only she believed
many wanted to share her love
before time passed her by
but she was too lost
on a mysterious love
that she felt in her heart
and in every breath she took
that never came to be
it is known she continued to believe
upon til the evenin' that she died
she was found all alone
dressed in white satin
holdin' roses in her hands
wearin' a smile that shined like the silver band layin' upon her breast
and a lonely tear that froze beneath her lips
we believe
"she found love"
