Just why do we keep searching for our other half
Why are we always caught up in the race
The race of love, to find Companionship
Just why do we need our other half
We are doing just fine
We dont need another person
Yes we might get bored or feel lonely at times
But we have to be independent
Do we really have to get a partner
What if the world operates in a way that
There is just one and only one sex
Whereby we are all the same
Will we still feel lonely
Or will we just get on with our lives
As though nothing has happened
Just like the old saying
Opposites attract
So if there is no opposites
Then definitely
there will be no attraction
Therefore people will not have to suffer from
rejections or heart-breaks
Love is a burden
A real big burden

How do you know?

Just what makes you think there'll be no love if there's no opposite sex? If and when it really happens when there's only one gender left, who knows if same gender relationships are possible? It might happen you know. Humans crave to have a social life, and loneliness is such a tragedy. If it was okay for us to be alone, then maybe God wouldn't have made two different genders in the first place. And maybe Love wouldn't be such a burden. You'll find that love is beautiful once you find the right person to fall in love with. So stay positive! Great job. I loved this poem though I didn't agree with your opinion. =)
