I'll Tell You Why
8 May, 2005

vinebar

why do I question your love?
why do I care
I'll tell you why

because you mean more to me
than I thought you would

in the beginnin' it was like a game
I'd take your love
and I'd run run run
now that I feel what you first felt
it makes my heart melt

knowin' that you are so far away
it draws me totally insane
allowin' my own heart
to soak in such pain

I'll tell you once
and I'll probably tell you
many more times

I love you baby!

all because you are you
I get so angry
so furious
and so upset
all in the same line of fire
you'd rather not be
my own female ammo
you'd duck many a times
for the fact
that your words just seem
like words that drift away

and yet there you are so far away
tryin' so hard to find your way home
and all I do is push you away
what I am tryin' to say babe'

and all I cain say is,
babe'

try to be a woman for a day...
then you'll
be able to understand
everything I meant to say
but said it all wrong
all because I try to be someone strong

and not get walked all over on
you just happen to be
the only one left standin' next to me
so understand
it is all because
you are not here with me
YET..
and one more thing yes
i admit i was in the wrong

------- Author's Notes -------

admitting to be wrong. oops!

I love your words

Our feelings can at times be fooled, but if you follow your heart and listen to youre mind,
The road ahead will be kind...
