I Felt So Empty Today by Terrie*

I do not know
what came over me today,

all of a sudden
at one point
I felt so empty,
It wasn't my stomach that was feelin' empty
it was my heart,
it felt so lost so lonely,
such sadness covered me
I asked God
what has come over me?
why am I feelin' like this?
why are my emotions bein' tested?
I asked him
if he felt my pain ?
then the rain came pouring down
he was showin' me
that he felt my pain...
I felt the sunshine come back in me
as God opened up the curtains to heaven
I took a glimpse of the rainbow
that sat highly and came down to earth towards the east,
God pointed me in that direction
as that is where
my baby is .
he is my rainbow
I'm still lonely
I'll still be blue
and I'll always hunger for his love,
but I won't feel empty
as God will lead me to where he is,
he knows how deep my love is
and never will I ever doubt the love God has given me
I miss him
and I love him deeper than any ocean.
the love I have for him
is the love God
himself had me save for him and him alone
I hope he cain feel
the love i have saved for him
right now and at other times

when I feel so alone
as i sit silently
losin' many tears
while i'm touchin'and strokin'
my empty heart

hey terrie, sorry i havent commented in ages but i can see that this poem was the perfect one to come back and read,i feel the love you have for this man, and if he cant see it then, well try to make him see it coz in my opinion if he doesnt love you as much as you love him, then he hasnt a clue what he is missing out on. fantastic poem as usual
