Sarah

I dreamed of love,
And love had, shape and form, such that,
I could hold love close to me
And feel love holding me
And love's eyes,
Were like that of a dove,
And light shown within them,
As a star shines in the night sky.
And love's face was beautiful
Love’s beauty was pure and innocent,
Such beauty as I have never seen,
Nor shall ever see again.
Love’s hair was soft as silk,
And spilled gently over her shoulders,
And shown as satin,
From the moons soft light.
And loved kissed me,
Love’s kiss is as sweet as honey,
And as potent as wine,
As comforting as a summer breeze.
and love spoke to me,
And love calls me her own,
And I call love,
Sarah

Meridian (172.140.166.215) -- Wednesday, May 11 2005, 06:41 pm It's Sarah right? The title of your poem. This must be a riddle; if so, good one. Because if her name isn't Sarah, it must be Bernadette or Geraldine. Hhhahha.... Just joking! But Mr. Ing, I love it when you type your words and send them to the submission form so that Dreamer can post them. I can't wait to read them when they come! |
