Once I Was
25 January, 2004
Author: Clive B Ringshall
A man so very young,
Full of silence never to be told,
A strength inside let it out,
Never be afraid to grow,
Not to old for the occasional hug,
Just remember you’re loved by more than one,
Mistakes made more to come,
Make them true just be open to learn,
An ear at anytime just for you,
Troubles in mind talk them out,
Always here to listen if you’ll mind,
Help is only a hand away,
Responsibilities grow with time,
Love will come and go,
Always be true to you do not stray,
Always family here to rely on.
