Stability Please
15 May, 2005
Author: Megan
I want to get attached to something nailed down.
So I wont keep finding my myself scattered all around
I bleed for stability, I need something serene
I can't express all the horrible things I've seen
You walk into my life and then you walk out
we have a 5th of vodka and it erases all the doubt
you say you love me, and we smile knowing it's a lie
but it's acceptable if we are drunk, it delays the goodbye
I want something real, something stable
I want to be with somebody who admits that I'm capable
I want to hold on, I want to slow down
I want the secrets of the past stop influencing the winds to blow me around
High schools is almost over, blame on our youth is ending
tiny broken fragments of my heart are mending
your in and out pattern of your role in my existence
is going to require bit more persistence
I want stability so stay around or don't come back
don't leave me hanging, I'm about to crack
i need something dependable, something real
i need some meaning, genuine feelings to feel
