im dying in your arms tonight
you look at me and wonder why i have to go
you wont stop crying
you cant let go
of what is happening
you wont stop saying
"please dont go"
but as much as you hate it
i am dying now
you hold my hand
and tell me to hold on
but i cant
this pain is just too much for me
and before i take my last breath
i look at you and speak the farmiliar words
i say to you that i love you
and make you promise not to cry anymore
you say to me "i also love you"
and i say goodbye as my heart stops to beat
you begin to cry
wondering why
i had to die tonight
