One Is In Us
24 January, 2004
Author: Clive B Ringshall
Today I’m single,
No life to share; one becomes lonely again,
Back in time numbers were given names,
Never did we stop at one,
One was never ment to be so alone,
So followed another and another,
To love your self is always the start,
We were made to share our love,
Bringing joy for two; rely on you as I would me,
Apart from you takes a little of me away,
I’ll know it’s safe kept with you,
In time this one will again be two,
Just as we were ment to be you and I,
We’ll exchange the love we hold,
And realize we were always one,
I’ll let you know my love for you,
Has always been and always will,
Be just for us.
