A Star
16 May, 2005
Author: Barbara Goodhew
To be welcomed and treated like a star,
From people who thought of you as a bad scar,
Is a warm proud moment.
Having this disability showed others the real me.
The strong ,humourous, emotional and humble.
Not just a stubborn out of control kid who was trouble.
Things happen for a reason.
This disability made me feel like a bright shining
STAR

Martin Vann (63.25.174.103) -- Thursday, May 19 2005, 05:05 pm Stars are made of fire, they light up the darkest night, like a surgeons blade, they close the wounds of pain. Who has never seen a flying star and not wondered, how beautiful yet, what does it mean? To me, a star that flies above my life, is a guiding light, reminding me, of the power or love, I will never be alone, my star flies high, and all the world below, can see and wonder, at me! You are a star, we call Barb. |
