You Never Knew
23 January, 2004
Author: Clive B Ringshall
Today you called like any time you would,
It’s been two weeks and my pain only grows,
I miss you I hear followed by I love you, I care,
You cannot love me as I am IN love with you,
I always was and shall be tomorrow,
I want my friend back you say softly,
I thought our friendship never ended,
Only became more intense,
For me this is hard to see and not to touch,
For me I still see you wherever I turn,
I hear your voice,
Remember your laugh,
You soft soothing words of comfort,
You always said “I Know” after
I cannot forget this all in two weeks,
The way I feel Years to follow will still be of you,
That on key to my heart you will always hold,
My words written to show a love like no other,
You’ll always possess these,
I want you near; I want you as it was,
I need more time unless you want me?
Unless You do really Know?
