Pain Of Love

Love is like a balloon,
Perfect until it pops.
Sitting with your loved one gazing at the moon.
Thinking of him makes you feel warm inside
butterflies begin to flutter in your stomach,
and even though you don't want to show it
deep down in your heart you never want him to leave your side.
But before you know it he has disappeared,
everything goes through your mind, your heads in a daze,
Days turn into months and he's come no-where near.
Then one day you see him and your head starts to spin,
You feel sick and chocked inside,
You feel so hurt that loving him feels like a sin,
Teardrops begin to fall,
Before you know it you've lost control,
Why didn't he keep in touch,
Why not 1 single phone call!
Memories race through your head,
the good and bad you miss them all,
but deep down inside you truely feel dead.
You try to hide the pain with a smile,
tell everyone your fine, your strong you'll get over it,
but when you're alone your smile only lasts a little while,
Lonliness fills up your heart,
only tears fill up your eyes,
And the only memory you have is the day that tore you and him apart

Does true love last forever? i think it does but 1st of all you've got to find that special someone, and that can be a lifetime challenge |
