Emotional Warfare
17 May, 2005
Author: Silent Witness
Blazing guns across enemy lines
Intense hatred
Black and scarred with death and fear
Internal conflict!
Atomic bombs in my head
Missiles fired!
Hide in the trenches
Raise my head
Only to see my own demise
Emotional Warfare!
Where am I going?
Where have I been?
Looking around for myself
Smoke fills the air
I am not alone in my thoughts
Emotional Warfare!
I find myself
In this personal landmine
I am not dead
I realize
I am only at war
With myself
Emotional Warfare!
