The Amazin' Wonders Of A Childs Heart by Terrie*

to see such joy
such spark in her eyes
made me stop to appreciate
my life

I missed so many things
since i've been so out of touch with life
so many things I want to touch right now
but some how just watching her glow
made everything shine
way and beyond

what you and I could ever touch
it helped me appreciate even more
and i learned to wait and be patient
and be content with what God
placed in front of me right now

to run in the park and fill my lungs with Gods air
wow
to just lay there under the the
blisterin' sun in angel minutes
and allow the sun rays
to carress my skin
awesome

to sit and wait for the sound
of a train whistle blow
lifes forgotten music

through her little heart
I found what I thought I had lost

just to be able to be
me again was amazin'
I owe this child soooo much
i guess i was tryin'
too hard to be someone else

I think I got more enjoyment out of our day
to talk to the clouds as
they pass on by
if you look carefully
you could see them wink right at ya

the birds that circle around
playing in their own way
the ducks in the pond
racin' for their share
of this loaf of bread
we hold in our hands

and if you could just listen to the sound
of the silence God makes
you could almost hear
that heavenly sound

similar to a harp
playin' at a distance
if you look straight up
and look through the eyes of heaven
your heart catches it all

and talk about spiritual ,
have you ever felt that buzz by your ear,
i just learned
that’s your angel telling you
slow down your life,
so much you are not hearing,

because life consist of more
than just livin'
it is about hearing
and feeling
what you caint touch or see
oh believe me
I spent a day with a 7 year old child
whom wasn't mine
but you'd of never known

the spark in her,
shined within me
I had the most ultimate time

and just think she thanked me..
can you believe she thanked me
for a good time

yet it was she
that brought so much joy
and happiness to me

even just listenin' to her hum
was like hearin' angels hum right along
it even made me feel Gods love
deep in my soul
sendin' tears of joy
for me to catch like never before

ya know I've been tagged

but 'aye
if it makes me at all
feel like how I did today
then let it be
wouldn't you agree

This was a beautiful write. It made me think of the saying "Stop and smell the roses" Enjoy the moment don't worry about wat might be enjoy what is.
