Falling Apart
12 January, 2004
Author: Clive B Ringshall
A wall up high to touch the sky,
A wall I see through like glass,
This wall will protect from others,
This wall will never fail,
I’ve been hurt before and will be again,
By this feeling of love that knows no end,
I’ve failed before may do again,
Now love has a different meaning once again,
If I pass this stage were tears do not comfort,
I hope my heart will recover,
As fragile as it feels right now,
My thoughts will be ok if I can keep them in order,
Never before have I been this close,
It all ended not that's what I wanted,
I cannot love like another accepts,
I love to much is this so wrong?
Today I’d hoped would never happen,
Today I’ll hurt and cry I know.
