A Feeling Within
22 May, 2005
Author: Manny
The walls are caving in
Waiting for the new to begin
There’s nothing, no feeling within
As time goes by, I wish I’d die
No one to turn to, they all lie
So I sit, cut, ease the pain
Wait a few and do it again
Thoughts of dying fills my head
The only color I see is blood red
Feeling dizzy, feeling weak
Death, the only thing I seek
Everything’s spinning
No emotion, just grinning
Time passes, and I come to
I look at the cuts, there’s only a few
Nothing will ever be right
Wanting to be in the limelight
I'll never be anybody or anything
Negativity is all I’ll bring
As I sit here torn and broken
Thinking death is my only token
I see a picture of a family member
Wonderful memories are all I remember
Staring, crying, and holding it tight
I think to myself, I can win this fight
I wipe my tears, take a deep breath
I now have a newfound strength
Feeling of empty has just been filled
No more of my blood is to be spilled
My whole life is ahead of me
All the things I could do, all I could be
The walls open, the new will begin
Another chapter, a feeling within
