My True Fate
22 May, 2005
Author: Marty K
Now I lay me down to sleep.
For every night begins in weep.
I pray the Lord, please hold me tight,
For I have fought with all my might.
If I die before I wake.
The suicidal task was my true fate.
As i wake from my uneternal sleep,
I see i have true friends in my heart to keep.
With every second that passes by,
I'm sure they ask themselves "why?"
"Why does he feel this way?"
And all they can do it pray.
I pray that maybe they will see,
The pain the dwells inside of me.
So maybe one day they will understand,
Why I carry the blade in my hand.
------- Author's Notes -------
