Mirror Image

Author: Your Melody
I'm taking it back
letters, presents, laughs and all
Dancing in the rain
I see a different little girl
Her eyes have that twinkle
that I once gave up
her future's bright
and she's happy now too
A blast from the past
her world is gone
everyday she starts again
The scars will heal
the pain will pass
She'll forget the memories
and smile again
She's always there
always watching, waiting, always patient
My hero
The little girl I see in the mirror
