A simple gust of wind
Rushing up the way
She stands on the roof
But cannot feel the sway

The fall is so far down
It tempts her just too far
But she is holding on
The little light left in a star

Her hair flows in the wind
Her skin blends with the sky
Her life has just been of loss
So now she wishes to die

Standing on the ledge
Holding on the bar
She slowly climbs up
This just went too far

She shouldn’t be here
This is not her life
She should have died
When she used her own knife

Standing on the bar
She slowly tumbles down
But her memories concur
The scene when she wouldn’t drown

Her memories came flooding
Every failure, every success
Although she has lived
This feeling, she can’t suppress

Right before she hits the ground
She thinks in the rush
“I shouldn’t have done this”
But it still was just too much

Thanks

Thanks a lot! I used to feel like this a lot and I guess that I wanted to reminisce on the emotions that triggered most of my writing.
