You Have My Heart

You have my heart, Wrap it up tight
Hold it close throughout the night
Love and protect it like it was your own
Save it from hardening, Don't let it turn to stone.
I know that you don't belong to me
And I wish deep inside that you could see
How happy I could make you day after day
If only you could let your heart find it's way.
You have touched my life in a way I can't even explain
To the point of no return, You're driving me insane
I have visions of you and I, Holding each other tight
I don't understand why you can't give up the fight.
You have made it clear that your life is mapped out
And I guess you choose to do without
So I will close my eyes and wish upon a star
And continue to love you from afar.
