Mother Nature
26 May, 2005
Author: Tammy
The sun was shining brightly,
and the painted sky smiled.
Happiness involved around me,
while the leaves danced in delight.
Peace took it's place inside my heart,
as birds soared from mountain tops.
Excited my thoughts became...
watching their beauty before my eyes.
Clouds formed like tiny rain drops
gently falling to nourish our earth.
I stood, and admired what our God had given
us... he had given us life right before
my eyes. "Our Earth Was Singing"
Swirling out of control was the wind.
Rain drops started to crash upon my face,
but my heart did not fear what
Mother Nature had in-store.
Trees swayed, as the leaves rushed
like traffic... Then the
lightning lit up the painted sky.
The thunder roared through out our land,
but Mother Nature's beauty still remained.
