In The Quite Of The Night
27 May, 2005
Author: Tammy
For in the quite of the night,
I sit here all alone.
Thinking of that perfect love
that slipped away, and gone.
Tears they flow like an endless
stream, and all my soul can do is scream.
The days of our yesteryears are now so
far behind, but on this quite night
you leave footprints in my mind.
My heart so very heavy, I feel so sick
inside... Oh if only my dear, if only
you hadn't died, but I know I cannot
change what is meant to be.
I can only keep our memories, and
set your spirit free.
