Holy Night
17 December, 2006
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)

vinebar

In a mother's arms, a baby
for the world a gift of peace
a dream of hope

In a father's eyes a glimmer
a tear of joy in knowing
a trust and faith

In a lowly manger so humble
a beginning of a new way of life
a promise of peace

A holy night given to every man
a gift more grand than any other
the gift of love

Beautifully said

I found your poem beautiful enough to inspire me to say "Merry Christmas" even if it's not politically correct.

Touching

Dreamer, I love the simple words that mean so much, each line tells its own story of life and love.
