you take care of all that needs mendin'
never a complaint from your lips
nothin' but love from your heart, drips
even if it's your very first one
your life of joy has just begun

you pick up a heart
when it is down
lose many hours of sleep
24/7 times to speak

not one complaint do you share
all because in the name of love you care
Mother another word for
unconditional love

you don't ask for a thing
the Angels in heaven for you they sing
for the many band aids
on boo boo's of scraped elbows and knees

and for all the koolaid spills
that were just a common thing
you were always there to lend a hand
and dry a tear
with your motherly hand

first tooth
first step
first haircut
first day of school
first prom date
graduation day
marriage
first of every thing
you were always the first one on hand

you are the Rose of love
you shine on your own personal vine
may you enjoy your day
love be spilt to one and all in all corners of the world

Terrie this was such a cute and pretty poem. I loved it I mean loved it. All 5 poems were just awesome... Keep on going with your writing the one about Heavens Gates... was such a pretty poem nice to know who the suprise guest was !!!
